“ Los Gordos has been my home for super burritos for almost ten years. It is the only place in Sacramento that I go for a real burrito. The carne asada is seasoned to perfection, and the blend of all of the flavors in the burrito... the rice, the beans, is magic. I have had their chimichanga, which is also outstanding, along with enchiladas and other favorites. Pre-pandemic, their salsa bar was alive with so many options; they used to make these spicy pickled onions that I'd never had anywhere else, that really made them stand out from other places. Whenever I order from these guys over the phone, they always know it's me because my order is always the same - "Carne Asada Super Burrito no guac, do you have the spicy onions today?" All in all, this is my favorite place to grab a burrito. Maybe it'll be yours too! ”
“ WHEN I SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE HAD IN A THREE-STATE MOVE, I mean it. I've been looking for tacos since I left south Texas. All the marinades are PERFECT. The al pastor and the carnitas hold the perfect combination of flavors. The salsas are the perfect counterbalance. I can't use "perfect" enough. The breakfast burrito has every single component spiced. The rice, the steak, everything had attention paid to it. My husband laughed at me when I held the flour tortilla up to my nose, but OH THE SMELL. You can't get a tissue thin tortilla to toast like that just anywhere!!! BONUS ROUND: the agua Fresca doesn't have the weird aftertaste I get from some other places. ”
